Edna
Buchanan is a Pulitzer prize winning journalist who turned to fiction. Her first
two books are autobiographical and tell of the crimes she covered as a reporter
for the Miami Herald.
Buchanan's style is hard edged and she is particularly notable for her skill in depicting how devastating crime is for the families of victims.
